Wittenheim ( prononciation française : [ vitənaim] ; alsacien : Wettena ) est une commune du département du Haut-Rhin dans le Grand Est dans le nord-est de la France . Elle fait partie de la banlieue nord de la ville de Mulhouse et fait partie de Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération , l’intercommunale de l’agglomération mulhousienne. ^[4] La commune comprend deux villages miniers, la Cité Jeune-Bois et la Cité Sainte-Barbe .
